How to Buy a Painting?

What are the payment options?

At the moment I am able to accept direct bank transfers and COD only, so if you wish to purchase a painting please reach out to me directly first. If you are in and around Colombo we can organise a pick up or drop off at a convenient location for the COD (Cash on delivery) option.

Do you take International orders?

Yes I take international orders, but payment online is not possible at the moment. So if you like to own a painting please reach out to me.

How do you deliver ?

For orders within Sri Lanka I use normal registered post for smaller works and domestic courier for larger pieces. Domestic packing  and delivery would be less than 10USD. 

For International orders I use DHL and shipping rates will be calculated based on location and weight of artwork. I usually recommend paintings to be removed from the frame and shipped in a mailing tube, as this is safe and cost effective as well.

How do I get a Custom painting done?

The starting size and price for custom work is 20 x 20cm at 7500 lkr (about 40USD). If you are interested in getting a custom painting done, please message or e mail me so that we can agree on size, concept, colours etc. Once we agree on the details, I will send you a sketch and if you are happy with it, a 50% deposit is required to begin the work. The balance payment has to be made before the final art work can be shipped. I roughly take about 3-4 weeks to complete a painting. Please allow additional time for shipping. 

 

What materials do you use?

I mainly paint on canvas using artist quality Acrylics, oil and Gouache . Sometimes I use mediums for the creation of various textures. Paintings are primarily done with palette knives and other sharp objects for mark making and creation of textures.
