Hi, I am Neleisha Weerasinghe and I am currently based in Sri Lanka. I love to create expressive and evocative landscape paintings that capture the lush tropical surroundings of my island. My art work is amplified with thick luscious oil or acrylic paint that I apply  liberally to give extra life to the scene depicted on the canvas. My style is nuanced by a range of inspirations, including scenery from my home country & nature of existence. The unique and often unique colour palettes and intuitive compositions that are not intended to be representational but evocative are the most personal features that enhance my work. My paintings are often described as being “ aesthetically beautiful & expressive”
